This kit developed by GTECHNIQ brings together the two flagship ceramic treatments from the British brand: Crystal Serum Light and Exo v5. Bundled in this well-designed pack with essential application accessories, you can protect your car with what is undoubtedly one of the best ceramic treatments available on the market.
Crystal Serum Light:
Crystal Serum Light is the semi-professional version of the famous Crystal Serum by GTECHNIQ, which is applied exclusively by professionals accredited by the brand. The difference? The protection can be removed from the bodywork using machine polishing, whereas the professional version must necessarily go through wet sanding.
Crystal Serum Light delivers 80% of the performance of the professional product. It will, however, be much easier to correct in case of poor application. In addition, the added gloss is just as impressive. Durability of 3 to 5 years when maintained with the right products (suitable shampoos and quick detailers).
Crystal Serum Light forms an ultra-glossy, smooth to the touch and highly durable protection for your vehicle. Moreover, cleaning your car will be effortless. Road contaminants such as tar, tree sap and limescale stains will be very easy to remove. Unlike a conventional wax, Crystal Serum Light withstands temperatures ranging from -40 to +250°C. You can apply Exo V5 on top for enhanced protection and greater hydrophobic performance.
Exo v5:
EXO v5 Hybrid Coating by GTECHNIQ is an advanced ceramic coating designed to offer superior protection to your vehicle's surface. Thanks to its hybrid technology, it creates a hydrophobic barrier that effectively repels water, dirt and contaminants, while enhancing the gloss and brilliance of the paintwork.
This coating stands out for its ability to form a hard film that makes water spot removal easier and offers increased resistance to wash chemicals. It also helps prevent micro-scratches, ensuring a flawless finish over the long term. EXO v5 produces a glossy finish while providing durable protection against the elements.
Compared to its predecessors, EXO v5 offers improved durability, with increased resistance to road salt and wash chemicals. Its application has been simplified thanks to a slower drying time, allowing a perfect finish to be achieved with a single coat. This coating can be applied alone or as a top coat over GTECHNIQ C1 Crystal Lacquer or Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL), particularly on dark or swirl-prone paintwork.

How to use GTECHNIQ Ceramic Coating Kit Crystal Serum Light + Exo v5?
Apply Crystal Serum Light first, followed by Exo v5 second.
Crystal Serum Light (CSL) Application:
- To apply CSL, your vehicle must be indoors and remain there for at least 12 hours after application. Work at an optimal temperature (between 10 and 25 degrees).
- Wash, decontaminate, polish (if needed), then wipe down with Gtechniq Panel Wipe before applying this coating.
- Put on the protective gloves included in the kit. Soak the applicator with two full pipettes and work the liquid into the pad to achieve full saturation.
- Replace the cap on the bottle - do not keep the bottle in your hand, as body heat promotes premature curing.
- Apply panel by panel in a cross-hatch pattern. Allow 1 minute flash time.
- Buff off meticulously using several microfiber towels (ideally 3: 2 Black Velvet for example, and 1 suede microfiber for the final wipe). Make sure not to leave any high spots. Use proper lighting to avoid streaks.
Tip: Never apply to a hot surface or in direct sunlight. Do not allow to dry too long on the surface.
Exo v5 Application (within 90 minutes after applying CSL):
- Preparation: Ensure the vehicle is out of direct sunlight, in an ambient temperature above 5°C, and completely dry.
- Surface Preparation: Degrease the paintwork using Gtechniq Panel Wipe and a clean microfiber towel. If you have just applied Crystal Serum Light, do NOT use Panel Wipe.
- Application: Shake the bottle well and wear gloves. Saturate the supplied applicator with a sufficient amount of product.
- Surface Application: Apply the product in a cross-hatch pattern over an area of approximately 60 cm x 60 cm.
- Flash time: Allow the product to dwell for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Buffing: Use a clean microfiber towel to wipe off the treated area, followed by a second one to remove any remaining residue, leaving a slick surface.
- Curing: Allow the coating to cure for at least 12 hours without exposure to moisture.
Tip: For optimal durability, avoid washing the vehicle for at least one week after application.
Important: Before applying a ceramic coating, it is recommended to decontaminate the paintwork with a clay bar and polish to remove imperfections.
