The Koch-Chemie Ceramic Body Cb0.01 is a high-performance ceramic coating designed to durably protect painted body surfaces through a permanent chemical bond with the paint.

Once applied, the ultra-thin layer creates a pronounced lotus effect: water beads up into droplets and carries away dirt, significantly reducing washing frequency. Its Easy-to-Clean properties allow for gentle, quick hand maintenance without compromising the protection in place.

The hardened ceramic protection resists acidic and alkaline cleaners (up to pH 3–12), oxidation, road salt, insects, and daily weather exposure. Service life reaches up to 36 months depending on exposure, and the product can be applied in two cross-coats to enhance the effect.

Compatible with all painted bodywork: cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, motorhomes, caravans, and boats. The kit includes a 30 ml bottle, two application sponges, stickers, a maintenance booklet, and a certificate.

Instructions for use
How do you use Koch-Chemie Ceramic Body Cb0.01?
1. Decontaminating Wash: Thoroughly wash the vehicle with an alkaline shampoo (e.g., Green Star diluted 1:10). Remove tree sap, tar, and iron fallout using suitable products.
2. Paint Correction: Depending on paint condition, machine polish using Heavy Cut, Fine Cut, and Micro Cut to eliminate scratches and holograms.
3. Panel Wipe: Wipe down all surfaces with a clean microfiber towel soaked in Silicon- & Wachsentferner or Panel Preparation Spray, then buff dry immediately with a fresh microfiber. Do not touch the paintwork with bare fingers afterward.
4. Coating Application: Saturate the included applicator sponge with Cb0.01 and apply quickly section by section, using a cross-hatch pattern until a uniform, continuous liquid film is formed.
5. Flash Time: Allow the product to flash off depending on temperature and humidity (e.g., approx. 6 min at 20°C / 43% RH). Watch for the characteristic rainbow haze.
6. Buffing off: Level and wipe off excess product with a clean Coating Towel in circular motions without applying pressure. Check under inspection lighting to ensure no high spots or hazing remain.
7. Curing: Allow 24 hours before exposing the vehicle to the elements, and 9 days before the first full wash.
Tip: For a second layer, allow a 30-minute flash-off time between coats. Open the bottle carefully and remove any crystallized residue from the rim before use.
