RUPES never stops improving its famous Bigfoot to always deliver an exceptional user experience. This is how the latest version, the Bigfoot LHR21 mark V, was born. The Bigfoot system, developed many years ago, makes it possible to considerably reduce polishing time while ensuring an impeccable hologram-free finish.

The improvements over the mark III are numerous. The foundation was already solid with the mark III, but RUPES completely reviewed and revised the design to noticeably improve its machine's performance.

The backing plate: already thinner, ensuring better stability and above all fitted with a peripheral rubber collar to avoid any disastrous collision with a body panel.

One of the major new features concerns the interior of the machine: a new gear system significantly reduces vibrations and prevents heat build-up. Efficiency is now better than ever. Even extended polishing sessions will not be a challenge for this superb machine, the Bigfoot LHR21 mark V.
Furthermore, this system brings a reduction in machine noise, for improved comfort of use.

Another new feature concerns the now one-piece cover, no longer made up of several parts. This eliminates unwanted flex movements while ensuring perfect control of the machine (improved stability).

The machine's ventilation has also been reworked internally to prevent heat build-up that could affect its durability. The detailer can thus polish for long hours without experiencing the unpleasant sensation of an overheating machine.

For the rest, there's no changing an excellent base recipe. A 21mm orbit perfect for all types of surfaces with an excellent correction/finishing ratio. Balanced profile, excellent grip, very accessible speed dial, lockable and progressive trigger...

How to use the RUPES Bigfoot LHR21 Mark V polisher?

  1. Pad/polish selection: Choose the pad/polish combination suited to the task at hand (blue foam or wool pad).
  2. Placement: Center your pad on your backing plate.
  3. Polish: Spread your polish in an outer circle around the pad.
  4. Working: Work your polish on one section at a time, applying moderate pressure to the pad, and start at speed 3-4 to quickly spread the polish over the working area. Then increase to speed 5 or maximum speed 6 to work your polish slowly in overlapping cross-hatch passes.
  5. Wiping: Wipe off polish residue once the residual film becomes translucent. Use the appropriate color-coded microfiber towel included in the kit for this step.
  6. Inspection: Always remember to wipe down again with an isopropyl alcohol-based solution to inspect your work (e.g., Rupes Reveal Lite).

Tip: For best results, consider using the dedicated pad cleaning brush (not included in the kit: Claw pad tool). Regularly change your microfiber or foam pad as soon as it becomes overly saturated.

Care instructions

Always polish with the machine held flat against the surface. Remember to replace your pad as soon as it becomes overly saturated with polish. Blow out the polisher's cooling vents regularly to remove dust from the machine.
