Description

Colourlock Old Leather Softener is a special care oil developed to restore suppleness to old, dried-out and hardened leather.

Over time and without maintenance, leather fibers dry out and become stiff. This product penetrates deeply into the leather structure to loosen and soften these fibers, thereby reducing the risk of cracking.

Its synthetic oil-based formula does not deteriorate over time, ensuring long-lasting suppleness and preserving the leather structure in the long term. It is particularly recommended for very old or stiffened leather, such as that found in classic cars.

One 250ml bottle is generally sufficient to treat one to two seats or several small leather accessories.

How to use Colourlock Old Leather Softener 250ml?
1. Cleaning: Clean the leather beforehand with a suitable Leather Cleaner.
2. Drying: Allow to dry naturally, away from heat and direct sunlight.
3. Application: Apply Old Leather Softener with a sponge or a soft cloth.
4. Resting time: Allow to rest for 24 hours to enable full product absorption.
5. Kneading: Soften the fibers by gently kneading the leather by hand.
6. Repeat: Reapply if the leather remains stiff.
7. Finishing: Wipe off any residue and let rest for a week before applying any other treatment.
Tip: Never apply in excess; several thin coats are better than a single heavy application.
