Description
Micro Cut Pad Soft is an ultra-fine finishing pad for correcting the finest defects on your clear coat and maximizing gloss (holograms, hazing, light swirl marks).
The manufacturing quality of Koch Chemie on this pad is exemplary. Its low overall height (23mm) allows excellent machine control, limiting twisting on curved surfaces.
The peripheral milling of the pad provides flexibility on convex surfaces (such as the rear fenders of a Porsche 911). The cellular foam maintains a certain level of abrasiveness while allowing great heat dissipation during use.
The special density of MicroCutPad Soft maintains lasting compression hardness during your polishing.

How to use the KCx Micro Cut Pad Soft?
- Mask sensitive areas using APP 110 tape.
- Select the right polish for your desired level of finish.
- Center the pad properly on your backing plate, making sure the backing plate diameter is smaller than the pad.
- Apply a few drops of polish onto the pad.
- Work in small sections with the polisher set to a speed suitable for finishing (speed 4 on a dual-action polisher).
- Wipe away residue using a microfiber towel (e.g. Cocktail Microfibers Black Velvet).
- Clean the pad thoroughly with a dedicated brush (e.g. Rupes Claw Pad Tool or a Pad brush).
Tip: It is essential to clean your pads between steps using a brush, compressed air, or a Pad Washer to maintain peak pad performance throughout the correction process.

Care instructions
Care for your pads after each use and during polishing:
- During use: Brush the pad and blow out dust to unclog the pad's open cells.
- Cleaning after use: Use ZviZZer Pad Cleaner, for example, or soak the pad in a bucket of warm water mixed with a little Pad Cleaner, brush gently, and rinse thoroughly. Use a Pad Washer (Lake Country) for optimal cleaning.
