Machine pads and other manual applicators are accessories that can quickly become very costly if not cared for regularly.

Moreover, not cleaning your pads can over time also cause finish defects on your delicate clear coats due to dried polish on the surface.

Cleaning your pads is therefore essential.

The Detail Guardz invented a very simple yet highly effective process to properly clean your pads: Pad Washer.

This system consists of 2 essential parts: the cleaning base and the pusher. You will also find a hook in this kit to hang your system when not in use.

The base of the Pad Washer is placed directly on the "Dirt Lock" grid (not included) placed at the bottom of a bucket.

Fill the bucket with clean water. Attach your pad to the velcro on the back of the pusher and spray a little pad cleaner (CG Polishing Pad Cleaner is perfect). Then simply press the pad onto the base with the pusher to clean it. That's it!

The pusher has a very wide velcro surface that can accommodate the largest pads such as 6" or 7".
