Description: The Italian Detailing brand Labocosmetica has developed a "triptych" aimed at cleaning and slightly correcting your paint, protecting it and sealing everything together, while enhancing the depth of your color and brilliance.

Thus, the Venere, Cupido and Reflecto products together represent the perfect combination to enhance the brilliance of your car while protecting it durably.

Instructions for use:

First and foremost, it is important that the surfaces to be treated are conscientiously cleaned, ideally using the Neve pre-wash solution and the Semper or Purifica shampoo from the range!

Venere:

The Venere product, designed to prepare your surface before applying the Cupido protection, can be applied either by machine or by hand. The product's effectiveness, particularly in terms of its "purifying" and slightly abrasive action on your paint, will be more pronounced when used by machine.

Note that Venere contains very light fillers! Therefore, you should not use the brand's Veritas or any other "Oil Cleaner" such as Eraser, Prep or dosed IPA alcohol if you wish to preserve the filling action of the product.

Choose a pad based on the purifying action you wish to achieve. A finishing pad will provide a very light cleaning and cutting action but will deliver a superb finish. Conversely, if you want to increase your cutting power, opt for a slightly harder pad. In this test, we chose to use a green pad (Medium) from the RUPES brand to truly test the corrective and purifying approach of the product.

Shake the product well and distribute it in a circular pattern on a pad without overloading it.

Work the product in sections of 60x60cm in crossed straight passes, without applying too much pressure, keeping the working speed at 4-5 on an orbital polisher.

The 50/50 results below show the cleaning and correcting capability of this cleaner with very light abrasives. Dried water spots and very minor defects are removed. This results in greater depth and brilliance.

Cupido:

Cupido is the protection solution offered by LaboCosmetica. A very easy-to-use synthetic protection, simply spray it directly onto a microfiber cloth and spread it over the surface. There is no need to let the product sit on the bodywork — wipe it in as you apply it and go over it with a dry microfiber to finish wiping the surface properly.

The durability stated by the manufacturer is 4 months when maintained with Semper shampoos and the Perfecta Quick Detailer.

The photo below shows the product spread over part of the hood before wiping.

Reflecto:

Reflecto is a product in a class of its own, as it allows the nanotechnology synthetic treatment (Cupido for example) to polymerize for 15 days (maximum polymerization time for the slowest treatments) without creating a UV barrier, unlike other nano treatments on the market. It thus allows the applied treatment to "breathe".

It leaves an impeccable finish, with even more depth and shine, with one of the silkiest touches on the market.

An essential product after applying Cupido to properly seal the treatment at its core and get the most out of your paint.

Application is very easy — simply spray it on one section at a time and wipe until the oily haze disappears.

You can see in the photo above the gain in color depth achieved with the application of Reflecto beneath the layer of Cupido. (On the left of the photo, Cupido alone; on the right, Cupido and Reflecto).

Once the hood is completely treated in 50/50, you can observe the result of the complete Labocosmetica protection on the right. Color depth, shine, protection and silky touch are all there.

Our opinion:

MA-FRA is a huge, globally renowned group in the Valeting industry. It succeeded in its ambition by launching a range of products for enthusiasts who wish to go even further in Detailing. Relatively simple to use, with very convincing results, the Venere/Cupido/Reflecto triptych from Labocosmetica allows anyone — from a beginner to a professional — to prepare a car simply, without the constraints of very specific treatments such as ceramics for example.

Moreover, the price of these products remains reasonable, so why not treat yourself!
