VALET PRO is a brand among the leaders in Valeting (detailing) products, with iconic references. Notable examples include Classic All Purpose Cleaner and Classic Carpet Cleaner as absolute benchmarks in interior cleaning products.

Today, the British brand offers a cleaner for textile surfaces with a reworked formulation compared to the Classic Carpet Cleaner. Indeed, VALET PRO announces an eco-friendly cleaning technology with its new Advanced Interior Cleaner.

We can therefore expect an APC (All Purpose Cleaner) with cleaning agents that are gentle on textile surfaces and a more "eco-friendly" formulation than the Classic Carpet Cleaner.


Usage:

Advanced Interior Cleaner is available in 500ml ready-to-use, in 1L to dilute, or in a 5L gallon. Of course, the price advantage is all the greater the larger the size you choose.



In this test, we will intentionally test the ready-to-use version. Indeed, we wanted to test the cleaning capacity of this product for spot cleaning, as this format will be perfect for storage in a door pocket, glove box, and thus be ready for any unexpected situation.

You can therefore use Advanced Interior Cleaner for cleaning your floor mats, headliners, fabric seats, and even convertible soft tops.



As with any cleaning product (APC, degreaser, wheel cleaner, etc.), the product's action alone is generally not enough. You will therefore need to use a few accessories (brushes) to help dislodge the dirt.



Let's talk about the product's scent first. Not unpleasant, but not particularly fresh either. We would have preferred a fresher fragrance, especially for interior cleaning.

The product's spray is always excellent and well-controlled thanks to the good-quality sprayers provided.
Spray Advanced Interior Cleaner generously on the mats to create a fine mist, which you will then agitate with a stiff-bristle brush after leaving it to sit for about 1 minute (to allow the product to properly penetrate the textile fibers). Do not oversaturate the surfaces either...







Advanced Interior Cleaner produces little to no foam. The cleaning capacity on the looped fibers of mats is very convincing, as in a single pass (without injection/extraction) the result is impeccable. Drying with a microfiber is done with ease.





Let's now test Advanced Interior Cleaner on more stubborn stains. The fabric seats of the test vehicle had brown marks on the seat cushions.



Spray Advanced Interior Cleaner directly onto the surface, spreading the application evenly across the entire element (to avoid having "clean" marks). Naturally brush the surfaces after allowing the product to work for 30 seconds. The result is impeccable after exactly 2 passes.





You can also use Advanced Interior Cleaner on hard plastic parts, foam-padded surfaces, and other vinyl materials, for example. This will save you from having to use various products for your interior. However, Advanced Interior Cleaner offers no protective properties — it is simply a cleaner.









This is also the strength of this product: its versatility. Typically, you can clean virtually all surfaces of your interior with this product (avoid leathers). Its cleaning power will tackle deep cleans, but it can also be used for dusting dashboards, door bins, and door panels directly with a microfiber.





Conclusion:

After several tests on different surfaces, it turns out that Advanced Interior Cleaner is just as effective on textile surfaces as on other materials. It can therefore easily be placed in the APC category. The finish is of course neutral after cleaning. It's a shame not to find a fresher scent at the end, but it will suit customers who are very particular about this.

In terms of product consumption, after cleaning the entire interior of the test vehicle, the bottle is still half full. That's not excessive. A dirtier interior requiring several passes would certainly have finished the bottle.





This is why this ready-to-use bottle is interesting for its practicality — storable anywhere in the cabin — but ultimately, given the small price difference, it's better to opt for the 1L format to dilute yourself.
Indeed, the ready-to-use bottle used in this test costs €7.95, while the 1L bottle to dilute (1:10 to 1:20, i.e. 11 to 21 liters of finished solution) will only cost you €11.95...
The choice is obvious.

An excellent product in the end, offered at a rock-bottom price. Why deprive yourself?...
