Wash Coat by NANOLEX, quick protection and simplified drying

Nanolex, among the pioneers in nano-technology treatments, has long offered a simple and effective protection to apply directly to a wet vehicle, just after washing.

Ideally used on a nano-treated vehicle to boost the existing protection, WashCoat can also be applied to an untreated vehicle.

Can be used in a foam lance or sprayer directly.

Application:

WashCoat allows application via foam lance directly after washing and rinsing, or in a standard or pre-pressure sprayer.

For a first application, dilute between 50 and 100ml of WashCoat per approximately 1L of water in a foam lance or sprayer to build a good protection. You can then reduce subsequent dilutions to 20-50ml for regular maintenance.





The scent of WashCoat is very pleasant, though quite synthetic, and stands out from other competing products.

Also, the rather generous dilution of the product means it can become quite expensive at higher dilution ratios. For regular maintenance, WashCoat is still well-priced (20ml, i.e. 10 applications for approximately €16).

Once your vehicle is perfectly washed and rinsed, apply WashCoat directly to the bodywork. You will notice that the product foams very slightly and falls back very quickly onto the treated panels due to its liquid composition. This is perfectly normal. Leave it for a maximum of 1 minute and then rinse with a pressure washer without exception.

When rinsing, you immediately notice the beading effect created, though it is still less pronounced than on some other competing references.

The big advantage however is that WashCoat leaves no marks upon drying, unlike those other previously mentioned references.

Microfiber glide is greatly facilitated and the feel is extremely silky.

It is also possible to use WashCoat in a standard sprayer. Dilute it according to the same recommendations as with a foam lance (50-100ml for first use, then 20-50ml for maintenance per 1L of water).

Spray WashCoat generously directly onto the surface and work panel by panel, rinsing each time.





You can of course use WashCoat on wheels, glass and plastics without risk. Remember to wipe thoroughly after application.

The finish left by WashCoat is quite glossy, like all "Wet-Coatings". The durability announced by Nanolex of several weeks is in my opinion very achievable, knowing the seriousness of the brand.


General conclusion:

Nanolex offers here a quick protection solution for those who want to protect their car quickly and effectively after every wash, or want to boost their existing nano protection.

The biggest advantage of WashCoat over its direct competitors is the absence of marks upon drying if the product is left too long on the surface. Indeed, nothing is worse than having to scrub hard when drying for a product that is supposed to save us time...

The durability of the protection still remains to be confirmed, which after more than 1,000km driven in fairly dry conditions is still present on the test vehicle.

Advantages:

+ Quick and effective protection.
+ No marks when drying.
+ Pleasant smell.

Disadvantages :

- Price (200ml packaging).
- Less pronounced hydrophobic effect than other references.
