Good visibility is a priority when driving. As such, preparing and protecting glass surfaces is very important to ensure clear vision in all circumstances, including in heavy rain. Nanolex thus offers with these 3 products (Glass Cleaner, Glass Polish and Ultra Glass Sealant) a complete solution to treat your windows durably.


1st step: Glass Cleaner

First of all, before anything else, it is naturally necessary to clean your windows thoroughly. To do this, use Nanolex Glass Cleaner, which contains no hydrophobic protection and will thus effectively remove surface grime from your glass surfaces.

Preferably use microfiber cloths specifically designed for glass (CHEMICAL GUYS Ultimate Glass Towel or VALET PRO Microfiber Glass).



The great advantage of Glass Cleaner is its ability to leave a perfectly clean surface with no streaks whatsoever. As a result, it will be ideal for maintaining your nano-technology treated glass surfaces with Ultra Glass Sealant.

2nd step: Glass Polish

The second step consists of polishing your glass surfaces to rid them of all contaminants stuck on the surface that would not come off with a simple standard Glass Cleaner wash (dried insects, pollution fallout, sap, limescale, etc.)


To do this, use Glass Polish ideally with a glass applicator such as the CARPRO Ceriglass Applicator. Indeed, this type of applicator has the advantage of being extremely rigid, unlike the standard cotton pads supplied by Nanolex, which will help you work your polish and promote the removal of contaminants.

Place only a few drops of product on the applicator and then work it over a small section to be more effective. Apply firm pressure until the haze has completely disappeared! Gradually you will see the film disappear as you work.





Once you have finished working your polish, use your previous microfiber cloth dampened with Glass Cleaner to clean up any remaining residue and ensure the surface is perfectly degreased.

3rd step: Ultra Glass Sealant

The final step is to apply the nano-technology treatment Ultra Glass Sealant. Nanolex has developed here a very long-lasting product (easily more than 18 months) that is ultra resistant to chemical agents. Once applied, Ultra Glass Sealant will allow water to bead off from 60 km/h in heavy rain and also prevent frost from sticking too firmly to your windows.

Available in a small 30ml bottle, it will nonetheless be enough to treat your glass surfaces several times.

We recommend applying it directly with a cotton pad or on a ceramic application suede cloth folded in 4.
Saturate your applicator well at the start and work over one quarter of the windshield at a time, for example, using straight crossing movements left/right and up/down (criss-cross).





The product, which is transparent on application, spreads well, and the most common mistake is to apply too much because the haze is not clearly visible. Try to apply as little as possible as long as you can feel the applicator gliding smoothly over the glass. If needed, re-saturate it with a few drops.



The curing time is approximately 5 minutes, to be adjusted according to temperature conditions. Once the treatment has cured, wipe it off with a short-pile microfiber or a glass microfiber cloth. Make sure to wipe it off thoroughly.

Then leave the surfaces without contact with water for 12 hours. Also make sure to replace your windshield wipers if they are not recent, or alternatively apply a little Ultra Glass Sealant to the graphite blade after degreasing it first.

Your windows are now durably treated, and routine maintenance will be carried out using the brand's Glass Cleaner.

Our opinion:

Nanolex is a brand that has always specialized in long-lasting multi-surface treatments. Safe to say they know their glass and even offer several types of treatment depending on whether the car is used in an urban environment or not.

The brand's seriousness is once again very much in evidence, with products that are very easy to use and above all remarkably effective.
The durability of the Ultra Glass Sealant is no legend, and will in particular allow heavy drivers to have a long-lasting protection solution.

A very good choice of products for your glass, though they sit at the higher end of the price range — but once again, that is the price of quality.
