Description:
GYEON offers with its Q2 View kit a complete solution to deeply clean your glass surfaces and provide them with long-lasting hydrophobic protection (12 months on the windshield and much longer for other glass surfaces). Its hydrophobic power is such that it will prevent you from using your wipers from 50-60 km/h in heavy rain while also reducing their friction.
Of course, you will first need to properly prepare the surfaces with Q2 Cleanse in order to promote adhesion of the treatment.
First of all, clean your windows with your favorite glass cleaner (no need to choose one with too many hydrophobic agents, as we are going to degrease the glass right after).
First, shake the Q2 Cleanse bottle well as it contains two phases as you can see in the photo.
Then pour a few drops of product onto the provided applicator. At the beginning, you will need to use more product.
Then apply the product over the entire glass surface using uniform circular movements without pressure. Be careful not to overload the area, as wiping it off will be quite tedious afterwards.
Once the entire surface has been treated, wipe off without delay (ideally, proceed half-section at a time on the windshield). Use a short-pile microfiber such as the GYEON Polish Wipe for example. Perform a second wipe with a pile-free microfiber dedicated to glass (Valet Pro Microfiber Glass is excellent).
Wiping off the Q2 Cleanse becomes a bit laborious if you wait too long. In that case, use a little glass cleaner on a dampened microfiber cloth.
Then apply a line of Q2 Repel onto a suede cloth wrapped around the provided foam applicator block.
Then apply Q2 Repel on half a windshield at a time using circular movements, always ensuring there is a film applied. If needed, reload your suede cloth with product.
We recommend finishing the product application on the area with straight vertical movements to encourage water runoff.
Then wipe off with a GYEON Polish Wipe microfiber or a dedicated glass microfiber after approximately 1 minute of dwell time.
Also remember to treat your wiper blades if they are recent to limit their friction.
Finally, it is recommended to heat the treated areas under an IR lamp (10 min at 60°C) to properly harden the treatment and optionally apply a second coat. Otherwise, you will need to keep the vehicle dry for 12 hours while Q2 Repel hardens to the core.

Our opinion:
Knowing the quality and seriousness of the Korean brand GYEON, one can expect a durability close to what is advertised, which is very honest for a glass surface treatment.
It is great to have a complete kit that is more than sufficient to treat all your windows. Only the wiping of the Cleanse, if left on too long, can cause issues (apply WOWO: wipe On wipe Off), whereas the Q2 Repel wipes off easily unlike some competing products.
Over the few kilometers driven under water with the test vehicle, the hydrophobic effect kicks in at around 60 km/h and it is virtually unnecessary to use the wipers.
