Description: CARPRO DLux is a very interesting semi-permanent protection in the sense that it both rejuvenates rubber seals and/or bare exterior plastics, and durably treats lacquered wheels.
The kit contains all the elements needed to treat several sets of wheels and all the plastic and/or rubber parts of your vehicle.
Instructions for use:
First and foremost, it is important that the surfaces to be treated are degreased (use an All Purpose Cleaner or Degreaser at a 1:5 dilution). This is essential to ensure good adhesion of the product!
Shake the product well and pour a few drops onto a simple cotton pad to treat the seals. Indeed, the applicator block and suede cloth would not be suitable or ergonomic for such small surfaces.
Spread the product (fairly greasy) evenly over the surface, avoiding any overspill onto the bodywork.
Leave the product to set for about fifteen seconds, then proceed to wipe without forcing using an all-purpose microfiber.
The 50/50 shots below show the effectiveness of the product. If the product has been absorbed by the surface within the following hour, proceed with a second application. The result left is consistent with the original appearance, with no greasy feel to the touch and above all perfectly durable and resistant to washing. It is in reality a repigmentation process that occurs on the plastics and rubbers, in addition to the protection.

Finally, CARPRO DLux can also durably treat wheels. Application is done using the applicator block and the mini suede cloths provided. Wrap the applicator block with a mini suede cloth and pour a line of product onto it.
Then apply the product in a crossed pattern with linear movements (like a bodywork ceramic treatment).
Be careful not to apply too much product as this may make wiping difficult. A simple film is sufficient as shown in the photo below.
After one minute, proceed to wipe with a microfiber. Check your wiping carefully with good lighting so as not to leave any product behind.
If you wish for more protection and increased gloss, you can apply a second coat after approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
Advantages

Disadvantages
- Wiping slightly laborious on wheels (greasy product)
Our opinion: CARPRO DLux truly offers a "miracle" product, especially for faded exterior plastics and rubber. Indeed, its repigmentation action restores a new and durable appearance. Moreover, being able to use it to treat wheels is an additional asset as it avoids spending on two different products. The icing on the cake, the result on lacquered wheels is stunning and the protection very durable. What more could you ask for?...
