Instructions for use:

Drift:

In the case of regularly maintained wheels with little contamination, Drift is the ideal wheel cleaner for thoroughly cleaning them without being aggressive.

Indeed, its formulation will be safe even on delicate wheels (lacquered, chrome-plated, etc.).

Simply spray the product onto your cold wheels, ideally unrinsed (if they are not too dirty).

Leave the product for about 2 minutes to allow it to work well on brake dust. Then agitate it with a wheel brush and/or a brush suited to your wheel design.

The first thing you notice with Drift is its naturally foaming texture, partly created by the spray trigger. This is a major advantage because, being less liquid, Drift adheres better to the surface and better encapsulates contaminants on the surface.

On the downside, it should be noted that the spray trigger is quite hard to press and that user fatigue can set in when spraying in large quantities.

Also, product consumption linked to the foaming nozzle (foamer-trigger) is higher than normal.

Nevertheless, the product's effectiveness is very much present, the scent is also pleasant and the finish left is very satisfying.

Paddock:

Paddock is a cleaner (type "Oil Cleaner") designed to rid the paintwork of polish oils, soapy residues, and other surface products.

It is essential before applying any nano-technology treatment from the brand, regardless of the surface (bodywork, wheels, plastic, glass...).

Spray it generously directly onto the surface.

The surfaces degreased in this way can be directly treated with the Carlift range by FICTECH.

Paddock is an excellent Oil Cleaner, not too dry, which leaves the surface free of any contamination, with a pleasant scent.

Rims:

The FICTECH Rims kit consists of:

- 30ml treatment vial

- 4 suede cloths 10x10cm

- Applicator block

It allows you to treat one set of wheels with a double coat or two sets with a single coat.

The durability of the treatment is stated at 1 year/15,000 km (if properly applied with correct preparation, and with future use of non-acid wheel cleaners), which is consistent and honest on the part of the manufacturer.

Once your surface is thoroughly degreased (using Paddock), pour a full line of Rims (shake the vial beforehand) onto a suede placed on the applicator block.

Then apply Rims in crossed straight passes so as to always have a thin film of product applied. If needed, re-apply product to the applicator, especially the first few times when the applicator is dry.

Leave to dry for 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on temperature conditions. The warmer it is, the less time Rims needs to dry.

Treat the inner and outer rim in the same way, and work directly with the suede (without the block) for tight areas.

Once used, the suede cloth must be discarded. It is advisable to apply a second coat for better coverage. Apply the second coat 2 hours after the first coat.

It is possible to apply the second coat directly to your wheels if you are working with IR lamps. In that case, dry Rims under IR for 10 minutes.

Rims has the advantage of excellent hydrophobic properties and great tolerance to acidic and/or alkaline agents (pH between 3 and 11). You thus start with a lasting protection that will greatly ease your future wheel cleaning.

Cargliss:

Cargliss is one of the brand's flagship products. Indeed, its reputation is well established and it is the ideal companion for any nano-technology protection (bodywork and wheels).

It will help restore the soft feel, enhance the shine of the treatment, and above all re-boost the treatment at its core thanks to its SiO2-based formulation.

Simply spray Cargliss onto the surface or onto a microfibre and treat each area until the product has completely disappeared.

Wipe off carefully so as not to leave any marks.

Cargliss can be used after every wash or occasionally when the treatment shows signs of weakening. Its ease of application and the benefit it provides will make it an essential product!

Slick:

Tyre dressing from the French brand with a silicone base. The final step in treating a vehicle's wheels: tyre dressing.

As the product is quite greasy, it is strongly recommended to wear gloves and apply it with a foam applicator (a Tyre sponge is ideal for this).

As Slick is quite shiny by nature, the idea is to spread it as far as possible across the tyre sidewall to avoid the "donut style" look, unless that is what you want. You should then wipe it off roughly with an old microfibre to break up the overly shiny appearance.

The advantage of Slick is that it lasts quite a long time and resists washing, notably thanks to its silicone base, which is more durable than a water-based formula. It will also not yellow your rubbers and offers a hydrophobic barrier to prevent contaminants from penetrating the rubber.
