The very famous American brand CHEMICAL GUYS offers with Lightning Fast an extremely effective cleaning product for all types of dirt on your textiles: carpets, floor mats, headliners, etc.
If you're looking for a fast-to-use product (ready to use), in a practical format with excellent versatility (multi-surface), then Lightning Fast is surely the product you're looking for.
Usage:
No need for a dilution bottle or to mix your own solutions — Lightning Fast comes in RTU (Ready To Use) format. A great time-saver and convenience, Lightning Fast can be slipped into a door pocket when needed.
Usable on all types of carpets (thick, short-pile, looped...), it will be effective on all types of dirt: mud, grease, blood, etc.
Lightning Fast has an active formulation that allows it to encapsulate dirt and make it easier to remove afterwards by brushing.
Make sure to thoroughly vacuum your surfaces first, then simply spray Lightning Fast onto your mats to create a good surface layer. Then let it sit for about 1 minute to allow the product time to act properly on the dirt.
We then strongly recommend using a stiff-bristle brush to promote the cleaning action of the product and dislodge grime from the fibers.
The CHEMICAL GUYS Interior Carpet Detailing Brush is perfect. It has excellent ergonomics (handle curved downward) and above all bristles that are stiff enough without tearing the fibers.
Once well agitated, your surfaces will only need a simple wipe with a microfiber or extraction with an injector/extractor. Indeed, Lightning Fast is a product that can also be used with an injector/extractor for large surfaces to treat.
The result is simply impeccable on this test mat. The black of the carpet regains its vibrancy, and the dirt came off without difficulty.
The only criticisms one can make of Lightning Fast are its rather "sharp" smell and the fact that it is a little hard to wipe off due to its foamy texture.
For the rest, nothing to say about the overall effectiveness. The second test mat below allows you to see a 50/50 Before/After comparison.
In conclusion, Lightning Fast proves to be a reliable choice. No possible mistakes or surprises. It stays within a consumer range but is particularly effective. Only its somewhat strong smell may bother some users.
By the way, the Interior Carpet Detailing Brush is simply perfect. The stiffness of the bristles, the ergonomics of the grip, even the price of €11.95 is great. Highly recommended!
Finally, Convertible Top Protectant is optional in the process but still strongly recommended. It will be particularly recommended on convertibles for the soft tops of course, but also on the seats, mats, and carpets of these open-top vehicles in case of bad weather.
