CARPRO presents a superb kit of 2 truly high-quality brushes: the Detailing Brushes.
As is sometimes the case, we are truly in the presence of two different types of brushes for interior and exterior use. Different mainly in the nature of their bristles.

Of different sizes, the exterior model measures 260mm x 28mm and will be perfect for all your exterior detail cleaning work. The type of bristles chosen is genuine boar hair, highly chemically resistant yet equally silky.


The interior model is truly unique and differs from the one dedicated to exterior use. Shorter in length (165mm x 23mm), it fits everywhere and will be absolutely perfect for dashboard details, door pockets, etc. Its ultra-soft nylon bristles are perfect even on delicate surfaces.




Uses:

Let's first focus on the model for exterior use.

First impression upon unboxing: the brush is of very good quality visually speaking. The brush body is fully molded (unlike the Sash Brushes from VALET PRO, for example, which have a ferrule), which ensures much better durability.

Also, the opening provided to hang the brush is watertight. This is important because you don't find this on all brushes, and there is nothing more unpleasant than ending up with water dripping everywhere when you pull the brush out of the wheel bucket, for example...

Second observation: the quality and density of the bristles. As a reminder, these are genuine boar bristles, very soft but not too flexible either, allowing you to ultimately clean the desired details thoroughly.

The grip is perfect, the handle is not too thin and therefore does not slip between the fingers.



CARPRO claims great chemical resistance to all types of products for its brushes (interior and exterior).
You can therefore use them with alcohol-based, solvent-based, and various chemical products (alkaline, acidic). Essential for cleaning wheels in particular, where all types of products are likely to be used (tar remover, iron decontaminant, degreaser, etc.)

This brush will be your best ally for your various cleaning tasks (grilles, engine bays, wheel nut counterbores, seals and wiper blades, etc.)



The head diameter is perfect for use on wheel nuts, and more generally the outer face of your wheels.







After using this brush with a tar remover or degreaser, no bristle loss is to be regretted, the softness remains intact. Once your cleaning work is done, however, make sure to rinse the brush thoroughly. Degreasers and other APCs that are sodium (potassium) hydroxide-based can form crusts when drying and make the bristles brittle.



The interior model is quite exclusive. Exclusive in its absolute softness. This brush is reminiscent of the brushes you find in makeup kits. The ultra-soft nylon bristles will be gentle on interior surfaces, even delicate ones such as glossy black lacquered trim that is very sensitive to micro-scratches.





This brush is very ergonomic and its bristles are very flexible. As a result, it is absolutely perfect for reaching dust in the gaps between buttons, air vent slats, and other details of all kinds on the dashboard. A real pleasure, especially since it leaves no marks in its wake.









Tested and approved on glossy black lacquered inserts! Don't hesitate to use it on sensitive exterior parts such as glossy black lacquered grilles as well. It is also resistant to chemical agents, so it will work with degreasers and more.





Conclusion:

An excellent new addition from the Korean brand CARPRO. Truly high-quality, these two brushes will give you complete satisfaction for cleaning all the interior/exterior details of your car.
A personal favorite is the interior brush for its extreme synthetic fiber softness, which poses no risk to interior details.
The price of €15.95 for the set is also quite competitive. It remains to be seen how durable they are over time, but if you maintain them properly as you should (rinsing with clean water after each use with chemical products), there is not too much to worry about.
