Description: Avalanche is a pre-wash shampoo with foaming agents that removes the bulk of surface contaminants from your car without contact, before manually washing the vehicle. Its citrus-based formula (just like Citrus Power from the same brand) effectively removes road grease.
Instructions for use: To be used in a foam cannon (foam-lance or foam-gun) combined with hot water. Pour approximately 60ml (up to 100ml for a very dirty vehicle) into the cannon's reservoir.
Application:
Carry out your pre-wash preferably on a dry vehicle so that Avalanche adheres better to the bodywork. Start from the bottom of the car if it is very dirty and work upward. Otherwise you can start from the top.
Spray the entire car thoroughly with the foam-lance solution. The latter must be adjusted so that the foam generated is neither too liquid nor too dense, with a flow that allows contaminants to be properly removed.
Allow the foam to act for approximately 5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly (ideally using a pressure washer).
Advantages
+ Good cleaning power.

Disadvantages
+ Fairly high price (1L).
+ Slightly weak foaming ability (overdosing often necessary).
Our opinion: Avalanche is a good pre-wash product in that it effectively encapsulates contaminants. Also, to provide a dense enough foam to stay on the bodywork long enough, it may be necessary to exceed the manufacturer's recommended dosage. Available in 5L, this makes it a well-priced product.
