We find the large drying microfiber, Guyzm'O XXL, which is the focus of this review. It is by far the largest of the two, with dimensions of 90x63cm, it even ranks among the largest drying microfibers across all brands. Its weight is simply impressive: 1150g/m². This ensures extreme absorption and excellent "autonomy" even on large vehicles. Furthermore, it has no edges for maximum safety.

Next, we have the Guyzm'O. This is the smaller sibling of the Guyzm'O XXL. Smaller in size (63x45cm), it is just as absorbent as the XXL with an identical weight (1150g/m²). No edges either, just like the XXL.

Finally, there is also the Guyzm'O glove. Equipped with the same fibers and the same microfiber composition as the drying towels previously presented, it will be perfect for finishing and hard-to-reach areas with the large microfibers.


Usage:

In this review, we will focus solely on the XXL version of the Guyzm'O in order to assess its advantages and disadvantages in use.

Let's take a closer look at the fibers that make it up.
You realize that this is not the same microfiber structure you typically encounter on conventional drying towels. Compared for example to the Maxi Séchage or the Cachemyr V2 from the same brand, the difference is clear.

We are dealing here with twisted fibers (mesh). This is an innovative technology also found in competing brands (GYEON, CARPRO in particular).





The main advantage of this new type of fiber is the absorption capacity it provides on treated vehicles (ceramic coatings or otherwise). Indeed, the formation of water menisci linked to protective treatments allows complete and effortless absorption with twisted fibers.

In this review, the vehicle presented is not treated — we wanted to see how the Guyzm'O XXL performs in an unfavorable scenario.

Also worth noting is a feature specific to the Guyzm'O XXL: it has a "double-layer" design. Imagine that there are in fact 2 microfibers sewn together on top of each other.



This is the reason why the Guyzm'O XXL is already quite heavy when dry. But it is also thanks to this that you get such absorption power.

On an untreated body, the ideal is to spray a little quick detailer to aid gliding before drying your car. Nett'Lux would be perfect for example.

You will easily notice that drying then becomes a simple formality.



A single pass is often sufficient. The finish is remarkable — no streaks or residual moisture haze. A delight!

The Guyzm'O XXL will also be perfect for drying glass surfaces. A quick test: simply lay the Guyzm'O XXL flat on your windshield for example, lightly pat it to saturate the fibers, then lift the towel to see that the absorption is perfect.





Another remarkable point about this drying towel: its autonomy. ALCHIMY7 recommends this microfiber for large vehicles and the standard Guyzm'O (white) for small and medium vehicles.
On our test Tesla Model 3, the complete drying was done without any difficulty and the XXL was not saturated at the end of the test.

Let's now talk about the disadvantages of this microfiber. They actually stem directly from its qualities. Namely, its large dimensions and considerable weight even "empty" can be a hindrance. Indeed, when you maneuver it on the vertical parts of the vehicle, you must be particularly careful not to drop it (weight) or drag it along the ground (size). Fold it in 4 ideally and hold it with both hands.



Likewise, the Guyzm'O XXL will be completely unsuitable for drying tight elements (wheel spokes, grille, etc.)
In that case, prefer using the Guyzm'O glove, which will be perfect.



Finally, one last disadvantage. The twisted fibers are extremely absorbent — that is a fact — and they also ensure a perfect finish, no issue there. However, they are also extremely fragile. The fact that they form a kind of loop at the end of the twist makes them vulnerable when passing over details such as badges.
For example, our test Guyzm'O XXL encountered the Tesla badges of the test vehicle several times, resulting in three or four pulled fibers. Unsightly but not debilitating.



Conclusion:

Genuinely a big favorite! A reference drying microfiber. ALCHIMY7 once again demonstrates their expertise in detailing accessories. The Guyzm'O XXL will make drying your vehicle a true formality. The absorption is incredible — a single towel is enough even for large vehicles.
Do pay attention to how you handle it, particularly on the sides where its weight and large size may catch you off guard. This is one of the main disadvantages.
It remains to be seen how the material holds up over the very long term, as these "magic" fibers are very fragile in use and snag on everything.
Also worth noting is that the fibers age very well after several machine wash cycles, compared to other more conventional drying microfibers.
Finally, let's talk about the price. The price of €24.77 is all in all very reasonable compared to similar models, especially when you see the build quality of the Guyzm'O XXL.
