ALCHIMY7 offers several glove references in their range: Grizzly, Cube, Extrem'O. This last one has been revised and improved by the brand to offer an exceptional washing experience with incredible fiber softness. Extrem'O v2 was thus born, and born well.


Presentation:

You were certainly familiar with the first version of the Extrem'O glove: a classic microfiber glove, fairly "plushy" texture but all in all quite conventional.

Today Alchimy7 revamps its product by completely changing the fiber structure of its glove with Extrem'O v2. Fibers of a softness never before seen in the competition — your washes will be respectful of your varnishes, including the most delicate ones.

The build quality is always present and I would even say even better than on the previous model: perfectly fitted textile sleeve including for the narrowest wrists, appreciable brand embroidery.



The great distinguishing feature of this glove is truly its unique fiber texture: ultra-soft, silky, and perfectly durable over time even after numerous washes.

In the photo below, you can clearly see the "fur" effect of this glove. It could be likened to a blanket, so dense and silky is the texture.



Let's also talk about thickness. Extrem'O v2 has the perfect thickness to ensure a good grip, a good feeling when gliding and passing over the car's shapes, as well as a good water absorption capacity. It is much thicker than the previous Extrem'O.



Finally, it should be noted that Extrem'O v2 also features a central seam to ensure excellent hold during washing and thus prevent the glove from rotating. The seams are clean, perfectly executed, invisible, and therefore risk-free for your varnish.
The interior of the glove is purely synthetic to facilitate machine washing and maintenance in particular.





In use, Extrem'O v2 proves to be quite disconcerting at first, so smooth is the glide. The fibers are so silky that you don't feel like you're passing over the bodywork. You get used to it fairly quickly and then feel quickly reassured about your ability to minimize any risk of micro-scratches on even delicate surfaces.



Conclusion:

It cannot be stressed enough, but the wash glove is the most important element for your varnish as it is the first accessory in contact with your bodywork in the detailing process. A poor-quality glove will inevitably create surface defects and thus ruin all the correction/protection work you could have carried out.
It is therefore essential to opt for one glove — or better still, two gloves — of exemplary quality. The first for the upper parts and the second for the lower parts.

Extrem'O v2 will be a top-choice glove in your perfect detailer's arsenal. The evolution compared to the first version is striking. You gain in softness and also in build quality.
Admittedly the price has gone up by €4, but it is well worth it knowing that this glove will be very durable. The quality of its fibers will last through numerous washes.

Truly a reference to try and above all to adopt!
