Description: ALCHIMY7 introduces with Ceram'X a fast and effective protection solution to protect your vehicle with various possible applications (with a foam lance/foam gun, with a pre-pressure sprayer, as a simple quick wax). Ceram'X is ceramic-based, so durability is significantly better compared to similar products based on carnauba wax or conventional polymers.

Product to be diluted according to use. Ceram'X is available in two sizes: 500ml and 1L.



Instructions for use:

Ceram'X can be used in 3 different ways depending on the user's needs and available time. We will therefore review below the 3 application methods with their advantages and the benefits they provide.

Use with foam lance/foam gun:

This application must be done in the shade only, at the risk of the product leaving marks as it dries!

In this scenario, Ceram'X will be used as a protection on a wet surface after a pre-wash/manual wash carried out according to detailing standards. This foam lance application will save time and provide durable protection directly after your rinse.



Simply pour 50ml of Ceram'X into a foam lance reservoir and top it up with cold water (no need for hot water as with a pre-wash, since the goal here is no longer to wash but simply to apply a protection).

On your washed and rinsed vehicle, still wet, spray Ceram'X directly onto the bodywork and wheels to achieve good coverage.

Note that Ceram'X, unlike pre-wash foams, will not produce a thick foam but rather a thin, fairly liquid film. This is perfectly normal — it is a protection product.



Spray Ceram'X over your entire vehicle. You will see the film run off fairly quickly.



No dwell time is required; the product will activate on its own during rinsing and form a durable hydrophobic barrier. Rinsing with a pressure washer is mandatory!



We recommend, if the outside temperature is warm enough, working on one side panel at a time to avoid leaving the product sitting on the bodywork for too long.
Then proceed with a thorough wipe using a drying microfibre cloth.



The product may leave a few marks during wiping, but these are removed fairly easily with a microfibre, compared to other competing products where product runs are much more stubborn if the dwell time is too long.

The finish left by Ceram'X is extremely glossy and slick to the touch. The hydrophobic protection is clearly present. The durability remains to be tested, with ALCHIMY7 indicating several months of protection. Let's say that if we already achieve 2-3 weeks, that will be very decent for this type of application.



Use with pre-pressure sprayer:

ALCHIMY7 has also thought of users who do not have access to a pressure washer. As such, Ceram'X can also be used in a pre-pressure sprayer.
The dilution to use will be between 5% and 20% depending on the condition of your existing protection (if the vehicle has one). Let's say 80ml per 1L of solution will be adequate for use as a ceramic boost.



Note that Ceram'X is perfectly compatible with all types of water (hard, limescale, soft) but it is still preferable to use it with demineralized water.

Simply spray Ceram'X onto your still-wet car starting from the lower sections and working your way up the panel. Once again, always work panel by panel and do not wait in this configuration to treat the entire car before rinsing. Ideally treat one side and then proceed with the high-pressure rinse.



Ceram'X is also suitable for treating lacquered wheels.



Then rinse the whole vehicle thoroughly to fully activate the product.



This application method proves to be quite practical and suits all users. Product consumption remains modest and you can easily treat a single panel if desired, unlike the foam lance application which inevitably sprays onto surrounding panels.


Use as a Sprayer:

In this scenario, Ceram'X should preferably be used on a vehicle that has been dried beforehand, after washing.

The product will therefore be used as a ceramic Quick Wax, with the application oriented more towards pure durability.

The dilution ratio recommended by ALCHIMY7 is between 5% and 15% depending on the durability of protection you wish to achieve.
In our test, we chose to dilute 80ml of Ceram'X in a 1L spray bottle.

Make sure to use demineralized water in this application in order to have the purest possible solution for a Quick Wax.

Ceram'X can therefore be used on a ceramic protection already applied to a vehicle or on its own. In the first scenario, its role will be to boost the treatment from within and thereby increase durability each time. In the second scenario, without preparation, the role of Ceram'X will be to protect the vehicle while leaving a glossy finish, though durability will not be considerable either.

Treat one panel at a time by spraying Ceram'X onto the panel and spreading it directly with a long-pile microfibre cloth (the Bloody Mary is perfect for this). Then refine your buffing with a shorter-pile microfibre such as the Blue Lagoon for example, for a perfect result.







Note that in this application, wiping is paramount, at the risk of leaving a product haze. Do not hesitate to perform a second buffing to ensure optimal wiping and a streak-free finish.
This is often the case with ceramic Quick Wax products, regardless of the brand.


Overall conclusion:

ALCHIMY7 presents here a very appealing protection solution, as it allows you to achieve a glossy finish effortlessly regardless of the chosen application method.
Unlike some other well-known "hydro-coating" products, Ceram'X is less prone to leaving marks, or those marks are easily corrected, which is appreciated.
Its versatility (bodywork, wheels, glass, plastics) makes it a go-to ally whether your vehicle has a ceramic treatment or not.
Like any silicone-based product, you will always need to take care when wiping to ensure a perfect finish (watch out on the windows!).
It remains to validate the durability of the protection, which in our opinion should be in line with competing products, with the added benefit of ease of use.
