Description

The Scangrip Multimatch 8 Connect is the most powerful LED work light in the range: 8,000 lumens for inspecting large areas during polishing, painting, cleaning, and color matching.

Its high-color-rendering COB LED (CRI+ 96) illuminates an entire side of a vehicle and reveals holograms, fine scratches, and clear coat defects. The exclusive CCT Scan function continuously cycles through color temperatures from 2,500 to 6,500 K and locks onto the ideal setting. The 5-level dimmer adjusts brightness from 800 to 8,000 lm.

This version comes with an AC power supply for uninterrupted lighting in the workshop or paint booth, with an IP65 rating. For mobile use, the work light accepts Metabo/CAS 18 V batteries directly, or any 18 V/20 V battery from a major brand via a Scangrip connector (sold separately).

The Bluetooth app controls the brightness and color temperature of up to 4 lights at once. An integrated backup battery and USB power bank port complete the package.

How do you use the Scangrip Multimatch 8 Connect?
1. Power the work light: plug in the included AC power supply or insert a compatible 18 V/20 V battery.
2. Position the light at least 10 cm from any surface, angled to cast raking light across the area you want to inspect.
3. Turn it on with button A, then adjust the brightness with buttons B (+) and C (-).
4. Change modes: press and hold button A to switch between brightness and color temperature adjustment.
5. Start CCT Scan with button E, then press it again to lock in the color temperature that best reveals defects.
6. Control it remotely by enabling Bluetooth (button D) and using the Scangrip app.
Tip: reduce the brightness to 25 or 50 % on light-colored paint to avoid glare and see defects more clearly.
Tip: the Scangrip 03.5750 diffuser (sold separately) softens the light and eliminates harsh shadows.
