Description

Original RUPES backing plate to be mounted on the new cordless HLR21 polishers. Screws directly into the machine head (screw included).

This new backing plate has been revised and improved by RUPES compared to the previous ones, for a more dynamic profile, without the polyurethane interface. The center of gravity of the plate has been lowered, which considerably improves stability and control, especially at high speed.

Another improvement consists of the addition of a blue silicone protective border all around the plate to protect surfaces that may come into contact.

Usable directly on the RUPES HLR21 polisher, you will gain smoothness in your polishing movements while maintaining essential balance for polishing in the best conditions.

How to use the RUPES 150mm (6") Precision Pro RUPES BigFoot HLR21 iBrid backing plate?

  1. Backing plate for use on the RUPES HLR21 polisher.
  2. Tighten the backing plate securely by locking the included screw with a hex key.
  3. Choose a foam or wool pad suited for your machine.
  4. Center your pad on the backing plate.

Tip: Regularly check that your backing plate is properly tightened. Always peel off the pad gently to prevent damaging the backing plate's hook-and-loop velcro.
