Description

Original RUPES backing plate to be mounted on the new cordless HLR15 polishers. Screws directly into the machine head (screw included).

This new backing plate has been revised and improved by RUPES compared to the previous ones, for a more dynamic profile, without the polyurethane interface. The center of gravity of the plate has been lowered, which considerably improves stability and control, especially at high speed.

Another improvement consists of the addition of a blue silicone protective border all around the plate to protect surfaces that may come into contact.

Usable directly on the RUPES HLR15 polisher, you will gain smoothness in your polishing movements while maintaining essential balance for polishing in the best conditions.

How do you use the RUPES 125mm (5") Precision Pro RUPES Bigfoot HLR15 Ibrid backing plate?

  1. Backing plate for use on a RUPES HLR15 polisher.
  2. Securely tighten the backing plate by locking the supplied screw with a hex key.
  3. Choose a foam or wool pad suitable for the machine.
  4. Center your pad on your backing plate.

Tip: Remember to check the tightness of your backing plate regularly. Always gently peel the pad away from the backing plate to avoid damaging its hook-and-loop surface.
