Description

Optional backing plate for the FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC polisher, flexible with a foam interface and 5 mm cellular rubber. The special backing plate holder (BP-M/SR D30 PXE) allows the backing plate to be used exclusively on the PXE 80 10.8-EC, not on any other machine.

This backing plate will allow you to attach small-diameter adhesive discs (sanding daisies) for localized sanding on varnished elements of your vehicle. Very useful, for example, when removing dust particles from a clearcoat.

The foam interface present will absorb level differences when sanding on a curved element or near an edge, for example.

How to use the FLEX BP-M/SR D30 PXE adhesive backing pad?

  1. Base Pad Selection: Choose the metallic rotary or orbital backing pad included in the FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC machine kit.
  2. Attachment: Fully screw the BP-M/SR D30 PXE adhesive backing pad directly onto the base pad.
  3. Finally, place an adhesive sanding rosette on the adhesive backing pad to perform your sanding.

Tip: Avoid over-tightening when screwing the backing pad on to prevent permanent damage to its threads. Protect the adhesive surface of the pad from dirt and debris that could compromise stickiness.
